Al Gore Desperately Lies Again!

Remember, the inventor of carbon credit trading said our climate is only GOING HIGHER!!  Don’t let this deuche bag backpeddle.

Blizzard of Lies From Al Gore

Red is Gore’s (Mann’s) Hockey Stick with cherry picked data.
Black is using all data (see the temperatures going down?). Apparently, these aren’t the hottest temperatures in 2000 years.

They are going to try and say more moisture in the air from global warming is the reason we have had more snow.

LIARS!!!

The reason we have had these crazy snow storms is because of the El Nino effect which is currently ending.  El Nino actually kept things from getting TOO cold!!  But it is ending.

What they cannot explain away is the fraudulent data and lies they have released as GOSPEL.  More importantly, THEY CANNOT ACCOUNT FOR THE HISTORIC AND RECORD COLD OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS!!!!!

WE HAD SNOW ON THE GROUND IN ALL 50 STATES>  It was so cold in Florida that the water reached the 40’s  in Ft Myers and the resulting fish kill will ban certain sport fishing for 3 years.

Do not let them backpeddle on this.

It is simple.  IT IS THE FVCKING SUN!!!!  We are in a very inactive cycle and it started a decade ago. HISTORY shows a direct correlation with our climate and the 30 year (or longer sometimes) solar cycles and volcanic activity.

And then what about the change in temperature on other planets? If Mars and Saturn and Jupiter are getting warmer, too, doesn’t that make solar flares a more likely suspect? We may be polluting Earth’s atmosphere, but Jupiter’s?

Not solar flares but active and inactive solar cycles.  A rise in CO2 is always the result of a solar induced warming planet.

The Great Man Gods of the Democrat Party want you to BOW DOWN TO THEIR POWER!!!  A POWER SO GREAT THEY CAN CONTROL THE CLIMATE OF A PLANET!!!

ALL HAIL THE GREAT OBAMA AND HIS DEMONCRATS!!!

What they are doing to the sheeple is no different from what the scientists and leaders did to the masses in the past.  Using their knowledge about solar and weather cycles to fool people into thinking the bad behavior of the people or their failure to follow their leaders caused disasters and ECLIPSES!!

WAKE UP!!!!

ANALYSIS-Scientists examine causes for lull in warming 25 Feb 2010 14:59:01 GMT

ANALYSIS-Scientists examine causes for lull in warming

Source: Reuters
* Exact causes unknown for lack of warming from 1999-2008 *
The underlying reason for cold winter not known *
Climate science in focus after email scandal, errors By Gerard Wynn and Alister Doyle

LONDON/OSLO, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Climate scientists must do more to work out how exceptionally cold winters or a dip in world temperatures fit their theories of global warming, if they are to persuade an increasingly sceptical public. At stake is public belief that greenhouse gas emissions are warming the planet, and political momentum to act as governments struggle to agree a climate treaty which could direct trillions of dollars into renewable energy, away from fossil fuels. Scientists said they must explain better how a freezing winter this year in parts of the northern hemisphere and a break in a rising trend in global temperatures since 1998 can happen when heat-trapping gases are pouring into the atmosphere. “There is a lack of consensus,” said Kevin Trenberth, head of the Climate Analysis Section at the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research, on why global temperatures have not matched a peak set in 1998, or in 2005 according to one U.S. analysis.

For a table of world temperatures: [ID:nLDE6050Y5] Part of the explanation could be a failure to account for rapid warming in parts of the Arctic, where sea ice had melted, and where there were fewer monitoring stations, he said. “I think we need better analysis of what’s going on on a routine basis so that everyone, politicians and the general public, are informed about our current understanding of what is happening, more statements in a much quicker fashion instead of waiting for another six years for the next IPCC report.” The latest, fourth Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report was published in 2007 and the next is due in 2014. The proportion of British adults who had no doubt climate change was happening had dropped in January to 31 percent from 44 percent in January 2009, an Ipsos MORI poll showed this week. HOTTEST DECADE ON RECORD The decade 2000-2009 was the hottest since 1850 as a result of warming through the 1980s and 1990s which has since peaked, says the World Meteorological Organisation.

British Hadley Centre scientists said last year that there was no warming from 1999-2008, after allowing for extreme, natural weather patterns. Temperatures should have risen by a widely estimated 0.2 degrees Centigrade, given a build up of manmade greenhouse gases. “Solar might be one part of it,” said the Hadley’s Jeff Knight, adding that changes in the way data was gathered could be a factor, as well as shifts in the heat stored by oceans. The sun goes through phases in activity, and since 2001 has been in a downturn meaning it may have heated the earth a little less, scientists say. “We’ve not put our finger precisely on what has changed,” Knight said. “(But) If you add all these things together … there’s nothing really there to challenge the idea that there’s going to be large warming in the 21st century.” Melting Arctic ice was evidence for continuing change, regardless of observed temperatures, said Stein Sandven, head of the Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Center in Norway. Rajendra Pachauri, chair of the IPCC, told Reuters that the IPCC stood by its 2007 findings that it is more than 90 percent certain that human activities are the main cause of global warming in the past 50 years. “I think the findings are overall very robust. We’ve made one stupid error on the Himalayan glaciers. I think that there is otherwise so much solid science.” The IPCC wrongly predicted that Himalayan glaciers could vanish by 2035.

One long-running doubter of the threat of climate change, Richard Lindzen, meteorologist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said a lull in warming was unsurprising, given an earlier “obsessing about tenths of a degree” in the 1980s and early 1990s. The world warmed 0.7-0.8 degrees Celsius over the last century. Lindzen expected analysis to show in a few years’ time that recent warming had natural causes. “It just fluctuates. I think the best explanation is the ocean. The timescale for ocean circulations can be decades.” He dismissed recent ice melt over a short, 30-year record. Pachauri said that scientists had to unpick manmade global warming from natural influences — such as the sun and cyclical weather patterns — also dubbed “natural variability”. “Natural variability is not magic, there is movement of energy around the climate system and we should be able to track it,” said Trenberth. Trenberth attributed the cold winter to an extraordinary weather pattern not seen since 1977 which had curbed prevailing westerly winds across the northern hemisphere, and said that the underlying cause was “one we don’t have answers to.” (For Reuters latest environment blogs, click on: http://blogs.reuters.com/environment/) (Editing by Elizabeth Fullerton)

Public conviction of global warming’s risks may have been undermined by an error in a U.N. panel report exaggerating the pace of melt of Himalayan glaciers and by the disclosure of hacked emails revealing scientists sniping at sceptics, who leapt on these as evidence of data fixing. “The long-term change for the Arctic sea ice has been very consistent. It shows a decline over these (past) three decades especially in the summer. In the past 3-4 years Arctic sea ice has been below the average for the last 30 years.” NATURAL CAUSES?

Senator Inhofe To Ask for DOJ Investigation

http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/climategate-and-the-law-senator-inhofe-to-ask-for-congressional-criminal-investigation-pajamas-mediapjtv-exclusive/?singlepage=true

Climategate Meets the Law:
Senator Inhofe To Ask for DOJ

Investigation
(Pajamas Media/PJTV Exclusive)

Inhofe intends to ask for a probe of the embattled climate scientists for possible criminal acts. And he thinks Gore should be recalled to explain his prior congressional testimony.

February 23, 2010 - by Charlie Martin

Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) today asked the Obama administration to investigate what he called

“the greatest scientific scandal of our generation”

— the actions of climate scientists revealed by the Climategate Files, and the subsequent admissions by the editors of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4).

Senator Inhofe also called for former Vice President Al Gore to be called back to the Senate to testify.

“In [Gore's] science fiction movie, every assertion has been rebutted,” Inhofe said. He believes Vice President Gore should defend himself and his movie before Congress.

Just prior to a hearing at 10:00 a.m. EST, Senator Inhofe released a minority staff report from the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, of which he is ranking member. Senator Inhofe is asking the Department of Justice to investigate whether there has been research misconduct or criminal actions by the scientists involved, including Dr. Michael Mann of Pennsylvania State University and Dr. James Hansen of Columbia University and the NASA Goddard Institute of Space Science.

This report, obtained exclusively by Pajamas Media before today’s hearing, alleges:

[The] Minority Staff of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works believe the scientists involved may have violated fundamental ethical principles governing taxpayer-funded research and, in some cases, federal laws. In addition to these findings, we believe the emails and accompanying documents seriously compromise the IPCC -backed “consensus” and its central conclusion that anthropogenic emissions are inexorably leading to environmental catastrophes.

As has been reported here at Pajamas Media over the last several months, the exposure of the Climategate Files has led to a re-examination of the IPCC Assessment Reports, especially the fourth report (AR4), published in 2007. The IPCC AR4 report was named by Environmental Protection Agency head Lisa Jackson as one of the major sources of scientific support for the agency’s Endangerment Finding, the first step towards allowing the EPA to regulate carbon dioxide as a pollutant.

Since the Climategate Files were released, the IPCC has been forced to retract a number of specific conclusions — such as a prediction that Himalayan glaciers would disappear by 2035 — and has been forced to confirm that the report was based in large part on reports from environmental activist groups instead of peer-reviewed scientific literature. Dr. Murari Lal, an editor of the IPCC AR4 report, admitted to the London Daily Mail that he had known the 2035 date was false, but was included in the report anyway “purely to put political pressure on world leaders.”

Based on this Minority Staff report, Senator Inhofe will be calling for an investigation into potential research misconduct and possible criminal acts by the researchers involved. At the same time, Inhofe will ask the Environmental Protection Agency to reopen its consideration of an Endangerment Finding for carbon dioxide as a pollutant under the Federal Clean Air Act, and will ask Congress to withdraw funding for further consideration of carbon dioxide as a pollutant.

In requesting that the EPA reopen the Endangerment Finding, Inhofe joins with firms such as the Peabody Energy Company and several state Attorneys General (such as Texas and Virginia) in objecting to the Obama administration’s attempt to extend regulatory control over carbon dioxide emissions in the United States. Senator Inhofe believes this staff report “strengthens the case” for the Texas and Virginia Attorneys General.

Senator Inhofe’s announcement today appears to be the first time a member of Congress has formally called for an investigation into research misconduct and potential criminal acts by the scientists involved.

The staff report describes four major issues revealed by the Climategate Files and the subsequent revelations:

The emails suggest some climate scientists were cooperating to obstruct the release of damaging information and counter-evidence.
They suggest scientists were manipulating the data to reach predetermined conclusions.
They show some climate scientists colluding to pressure journal editors not to publish work questioning the “consensus.”
They show that scientists involved in the report were assuming the role of climate activists attempting to influence public opinion while claiming scientific objectivity.
The report notes a number of potential legal issues raised by their Climategate investigation:

It suggests scientific misconduct that may violate the Shelby Amendment — requiring open access to the results of government-funded research — and the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) policies on scientific misconduct (which were announced December 12, 2000).
It notes the potential for violations of the Federal False Statements and False Claims Acts, which may have both civil and criminal penalties.
The report also notes the possibility of there having been an obstruction of Congress in Congressional Proceeds, which may constitute an obstruction of justice.
If proven, these charges could subject the scientists involved to debarment from federally funded research, and even to criminal penalties.

By naming potential criminal offenses, Senator Inhofe raises the stakes for climate scientists and others involved. Dr. Phil Jones of the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit has already been forced to step aside because of the Climategate FOIA issues, and Dr. Michael Mann of Penn State is currently under investigation by the university for potential misconduct. Adding possible criminal charges to the mix increases the possibility that some of the people involved may choose to blow the whistle in order to protect themselves.

Senator Inhofe believes that Dr. Hansen and Dr. Mann should be “let go” from their posts “for the good of the institutions involved.”

The question, of course, is whether the Senate Democratic majority will allow this investigation to proceed, in the face of the Obama administration’s stated intention to regulate CO2 following the apparent death of cap and trade legislation. The Democratic majority has blocked previous attempts by Inhofe to investigate issues with climate science.
